Spring has arrived in Delta
Irrigation ditch work
Spent a few days building an irrigation diversion box and began the installation yesterday. Had to break out the side of the concrete V-ditch to make a connection to the new diversion box. I’ll post some ‘after’ pics in a few days, but this is one taken during the manual labor phase.
The pipe and slide gate on the left is being removed, to be replaced by the new diversion channel and box. I spent entirely too much time on the wrong end of a shovel and sledge hammer.
New Baby Pics
I have been remiss in posting pics of our new baby girl. She is about 2 weeks old and we are expecting another around Mother’s day.

Blast from the past
Had a long phone conversation with an old friend from Mustang Software yesterday. We hadn’t talked for years and years. It was fun catching up on things and seeing the changes in our respective lives. I’ll have to devote some time and energy into renewing those relationships.
