View from my room in Myrtle Beach last month.
Stayed at the Jamaican, a part of the Caribbean Resorts property. Great view and newly remodeled rooms. Very inexpensive at only $78/night. Good food right next door at the Sea Captain's House where I hit the breakfast buffet several days.

Magnolia Grandiflora at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital
This beautiful flower was found on a walkway between the parking garage and one of the many healthcare related offices in the hospital complex.
Peacock at Magnolia Park
Unfortunately, although I followed him for about 30 minutes, he didn't open his fantail. He looks a bit scraggly so it may not have been that spectacular anyway.

Beautiful water feature at Magnolia Park. I went to a bluegrass festival there last weekend and the views were nice, but the music wasn't to my taste. Not your typical Bluegrass, more like toothless swamp folk singing colloquial lyrics about life....
