Stayed at the Jamaican, a part of the Caribbean Resorts property. Great view and newly remodeled rooms. Very inexpensive at only $78/night. Good food right next door at the Sea Captain’s House where I hit the breakfast buffet several days.

Stainless steel and space black stainless steel cases. The display is protected by sapphire crystal. And a range of bands in three materials.

I’m waiting until things mature a bit, but I think the 42mm is better for me than the 38mm. While Apple products have always carried a price premium, the watch bands take this to a new level. I like the look of the Modern band because it can be worn with the clasp on the top of the wrist and still look nice. But it’s a $200 up-charge and is only available on the 38mm. The other band I like is the Black Stainless Link but it’s a $500 up-charge on either size. Something is wrong when the band costs just shy of the watch itself.

She was wandering around behind the old welcome center for the subdivision with her baby. Was able to get within 50 yards or so.

Well, getting back into photography a bit, purchased an enthusiast level Nikon. Opted out of the kit lens and got a great deal on a decent zoom until I can afford a good lens. Hopefully photos will follow.

Previously I used a Canon 20D with some great L-Glass lenses but since I’m starting from scratch again I switched to Nikon.

This isn’t to suggest that my pal Panzer was a victim of cancer, it was tagged as part of an online support photo shoot. Panzer was the victim of his own exuberance and was taken in a vehicle accident on the road near home. My consolation is that I was there and able to hold him as he slipped over the Rainbow Bridge.
